Migrace buněk a buněčných částic hraje důležitou roli ve fungování živých organismů. Systematický výzkum buněčné migrace byl umožněn v posledních dvaceti letech rychlým rozvojem neinvazivních zobrazovacích technik a digitálních snímačů. Moderní zobrazovací systémy dovolují studovat chování buněčných populací složených z mnoha ticíců buněk. Manuální analýza takového množství dat by byla velice zdlouhavá, protože některé experimenty vyžadují analyzovat tvar, rychlost a další charakteristiky jednotlivých buněk. Migration of cells and subcellular particles plays a crucial role in many processes in living organisms. Despite its importance a systematic research of cell motility has only been possible in last two decades due to rapid development of non-invasive imaging techniques and digital cameras. Modern imaging systems allow to study large populations with thousands of cells. Manual analysis of the acquired data is infeasible, because in order to gain insight into underlying biochemical processes it is sometimes necessary to determine shape, velocity and other characteristics of individual cells. Thus there is a high demand for automatic methods

A Modular and Adaptive System for Business Email Compromise Detection

The growing sophistication of Business Email Compromise (BEC) and spear phishing attacks poses significant challenges to organizations worldwide. The techniques featured in traditional spam and phishing detection are insufficient due to the tailored nature of modern BEC attacks as they often blend in with the regular benign traffic. Recent advances in machine learning, particularly in Natural Language Understanding (NLU), offer a promising avenue for combating such attacks but in a practical system, due to limitations such as data availability, operational costs, verdict explainability requirements or a need to robustly evolve the system, it is essential to combine multiple approaches together. We present CAPE, a comprehensive and efficient system for BEC detection that has been proven in a production environment for a period of over two years. Rather than being a single model, CAPE is a system that combines independent ML models and algorithms detecting BEC-related behaviors across various email modalities such as text, images, metadata and the email's communication context. This decomposition makes CAPE's verdicts naturally explainable. In the paper, we describe the design principles and constraints behind its architecture, as well as the challenges of model design, evaluation and adapting the system continuously through a Bayesian approach that combines limited data with domain knowledge. Furthermore, we elaborate on several specific behavioral detectors, such as those based on Transformer neural architectures

The theological reflection on the selected motives in contemporary Czech poetry

The aim of this thesis is a theological reflection of contemporary Czech poetry. Specifically, the thesis deals with collections Úloža by Ivan Martin Jirous, Darmata by Petr Hruška and Osip míří na jih by Marie Iljašenko. It focuses mainly on their concepts of man, the world and transcendence. The work is divided into three chapters, the first two being a necessary prelude for chapter three. The first part of the thesis presents some of the ways in which theology can relate to poetry. Language, imagination and metaphor are presented as common fields of both theology and poetry. Furthermore, this chapter defines two possible theological approaches to poetry: The theological approach to poetry as an object of theology and as a subject of theology. In the second chapter, there is literary analysis of the collections, which is necessary for the third part. In the third part, which is the main focus of this thesis, a theological reflection of selected collections is presented. Its aim is not only to examine whether and how the selected themes in the collections correlate with their conception in theology, but also to present what they may be inspirational for theology

Prayer as a literary genre and its realization in contemporary Czech poetry

    No full text
The thesis Prayer as a literary genre and its realization in contemporary Czech poetry deals with the question of prayer as a literary genre in poetry and then whether and how this genre is realized in contemporary Czech lyric poetry. This leads to two main focuses of this thesis. The first is theoretical research in the field of literary genres and the second is its application to specific poems. The first part deals primarily with various definitions of prayer as a literary genre in Czech and foreign literature. On the basis of their critical reflection, the thesis then goes on to discuss several key points in the study of prayer in literature, in order to present an attempt to define prayer as a literary genre itself, which divides it into a scale of four points, two of which are particularly relevant to literary scholarship (prayer in the narrower sense based on formal relatedness to the religious pattern; prayer in a broader sense based on addressing a sacred entity) and two more peripheral (prayer as a primarily religious act and a genre of church literature; a theological conception that sees all poetry as prayer). The second part of the thesis deals with specific examples of poems-prayers in collections of Czech lyric poetry published after 2010. First, three more extensive interpretations..

Nejdříve jsou zařazeny tři rozsáhlejší interpretace básní Ivana M. Jirouse, Miloše Doležala a Ondřeje Hanuse a...Department of Czech and Comparative LiteratureÚstav české literatury a komparatistikyFaculty of ArtsFilozofická fakult

Katedra systematické teologie a filosofie (do 2023)Department of Systematic Theology and PhilosophyCatholic Theological FacultyKatolická teologická fakult
